BREAKING | U.S. Airstrikes Target Iranian Nuclear Facilities as Trump Declares “Mission Accomplished”

Tehran – Washington | Iranian state television has confirmed that the Fordow nuclear facility was targeted by a U.S. airstrike, in what marks a significant escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump took to social media platform X, declaring that American forces carried out successful strikes on three key Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. “Now is the time for peace,” Trump wrote.

In a series of statements issued shortly after the strikes, Trump stated:

🗣️ “We conducted strikes on Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.”

🗣️ “We hit Iran’s three major nuclear sites — now it’s time for peace.”

🗣️ “No military in the world could have done what we just did.”

🗣️ “Our aircraft completed three successful strikes and are returning safely.”

🗣️ “U.S. bombers dropped their full payload on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility.”

🗣️ “This is a historic moment for America, Israel, and the world.”

🗣️ “Iran must now agree to end the war.”

Reuters, citing a senior U.S. official, reported that stealth B-2 bombers were involved in the attack on Fordow, suggesting the use of advanced precision weaponry in the operation.

The Iranian government has not yet issued an official response regarding the extent of the damage or any plans for retaliation. However, fears are mounting over the potential for further escalation in the region.

The targeted facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — have long been at the center of international concern over Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The strike represents a dramatic shift in U.S. posture, possibly upending ongoing diplomatic efforts surrounding the Iranian nuclear program.

The international community is closely monitoring developments, with urgent calls emerging for de-escalation and the revival of diplomatic dialogue.
